Description
The project was carried out in a live environment, and the toilets had to be kept functional for the duration of the works.
Gelder supplied some temporary offices so that the staff could still carry out their daily tasks and had a daily meetings with the head of production to discuss tasks and weekly update meeting with the construction team to discuss progress, it was paramount the works were completed within the 12 week period allowed by the client. This meant working longer hours and some weekends.

This was a particularly tricky project as this was the main amenities block for the staff, making sure the design was completed and any issues /design queries were answered immediately was critical to getting this job complete within the tight timescales.

- Supply & installation of new mezzanine floor including staircase
- Installation of new carpet tiles
- New fire doors
- Fire rated suspended ceiling
- New windows
- New electrical installation and emergency lighting
- Installation of energy efficient LED lighting
- New heat recovery system to the office
- Full decoration of new office facility
