Receptionist

Location: Lincoln
Department: Administration & Reception

Maternity cover Fixed-term contract

8-5 Monday to Friday, with 30 minutes lunch

Survey Administrator

Location: Barlborough
Department: Insurance, Repair & Renovation

We are seeking a Survey administrator to join our team in Barlborough. As a Survey Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of surveys for our surveyors and optimising their daily routes. You will assist our team with logging insurance claims and managing the claims to the point of approval. Working in our busy Insurance Repair and Renovation department you will be part of a highly motivated team of individuals providing a first class service to our new and existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, be able to work to tight timescales using your own initiative and at the highest standards.

Key responsibilities: Processing new claim instructions. Liaise with clients and policyholders. Optimising diaries and travel routes. Ensuring SLA compliance. Organise and maintain survey data, ensuring accuracy for reporting and analysis.

Personal specification: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel Strong organisational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience in scheduling, logistics, or a related field is desirable but not mandatory.

Fleet Mechanic Gelder Group

Job description:

The Gelder Group is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic. Applicants must have a minimum Level 2 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.

This role would be based in our modern workshop in Sturton by Stow, Lincoln.

This rewarding role would suit someone who is highly motivated, organised and conscientious and works well in a team environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Routine scheduled servicing of cars and vans in compliance to manufacture's guidelines
  • General repairs and maintenance
  • Confident in using Vehicle Diagnostic equipment to fault find
  • Keeping workshop and surrounding areas clean and tidy
  • Completing paperwork thoroughly

Essential:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Smart and punctual
  • Excellent communicator: able to understand instructions and communicate effectively
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and deliver to strict timescales
  • Comply with company H&S policy

Contracts Manager - Lincoln

Location: Lincoln
Department: Commercial

Our Commercial department are actively seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, in budget and to a high quality.

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3 years experience. You will work on a wide range of different projects, including refurbishment, new builds and maintenance, all within a wide range of different sectors. At any one time you will be responsible for overseeing a number of projects ranging from £50k-£5m.

Responsibilities include:

  • Formulating contract programmes, procurement of subcontractor and material schedules
  • Issuing of progress reports
  • Working closely with the project team including; Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Buyers and Health & Safety Manager
  • Ensuring that projects are completed to the required standard, on time and within budget
  • Ensuring that all health & safety regulations are maintained
  • Representing the company in a professional / polite manner at all meetings
  • Ensuring that our I.S.O quality assurance procedures are adhered to
  • To assist with the project team with value engineering and construction methods to ensure that margins are achieved / exceeded on all projects
  • Must hold valid UK driving licence, a current SMSTS and CSCS card would be desirable.
