Description
The Diocese of Lincoln required a Contractor who was able to work safely, efficiently and effectively coupled with the sensitivity of being involved in a Grade II listed property and conservation area.
The project comprised of the conversion of the Form St Michael on the Mount Church, Lincoln into a 16 bedroom hotel, communal areas and private area to be used as offices and administration areas for the Bishop of Lincoln.
The works involved making good existing features of the Grade II listed property whilst converting the Hotel into a modern high specification environment and conference facilities. The renovation included new service installations, Mechanical and Electrical Installations and the insertion of new roof windows. All aspects of the project have been completed exceeding all expectations by the Client. Sensitivity to the building where the old meets the new was maintained and influenced by the maintenance of the existing build.
