Description
The new primary school consists of seven new classrooms, hall, ancillary accommodation, reception and staff facilities. The 1122 square metre building is constructed using a timber frame with timber walls and partitioning.
Externally the building is clad in Larch boarding and Sto render with the shallow pitched roof being covered in Sarnafil single ply roof membrane. The building is positioned to maximise use of sunlight and hosts a variety of renewable technology such as solar panels, passive ventilation together with a rain water harvesting system.
