Description
Construction of a two storey teaching block with a gross floor area of 1300m² to provide 10 classrooms. Careful consideration and planning were required to ensure safe access to the site which was at the rear of the school and through the school playground.
Co-ordination was also required to enable out of hours working for the mechanical and electrical connections and forming the new access from the existing building. As works were carried out within operational facilities, careful planning and liaison with the client was necessary in order to minimise disruption and ensure the highest standards of safety. The contract was successfully completed on time and within budget.
