Description
The project comprised the demolition of the existing building and the construction of a new Higher Tech Further Education Teaching Facility.
The replacement building comprised of new steel frame structure with brick and cladding envelope, powder coated aluminium curtain walling and windows, block work partitions and suspended ceilings.
Exceptional liaison with the client was necessary as the works were carried out while the facility was still functioning, therefore careful and extensive planning was required to enable minimal disruption and strict adherence to Health & Safety was required.
