A 50% increase in insurance claims leading to an order book value over £5 million.
During the past 6 months Gelder Group’s Insurance Repair & Renovation Division has seen a 50% increase in claim numbers, leading to the order book value of over £5m, the highest it’s been in several years.
On the increase Louisa Sharpe, Director is responsible for the division comments:
Despite rationalising some of our Insurance work streams for several months orders have seen month on month increases, partly on the back of the February storms but largely due to the standing and reputation Gelder’s IRR Division holds within the industry, that and the fact that more policy holders are choosing to entrust their insurer/Gelder Group to manage their claim as opposed to accepting a cash settlement.
Gelder is the East Midlands region’s largest provider of building services to the insurance industry with offices located in Lincoln, Barlborough and Lichfield.
