There were smiles all round as Sarah Elliff-Brown from Jewson visited Gelder Group to collect the wooden spoon trophy in the company’s Q3 Six Dart Challenge. The light-hearted competition sees visitors to Gelder Group’s headquarters put their darts skills to the test, with prizes awarded for both the highest and lowest scores each quarter. Unfortunately for Sarah, her score of just 19 points secured her the rather dubious honour of finishing bottom of the leaderboard and taking home the coveted wooden spoon!
However, Sarah wasn’t prepared to let that be the end of the story. While visiting to collect her trophy, she decided to have another go at the dartboard and proved that her previous performance was simply an off day! With a much-improved performance, Sarah is confident she won’t be collecting the wooden spoon again this quarter.
The Six Dart Challenge continues to provide a bit of friendly competition and plenty of laughs for visitors to Gelder Group, with everyone encouraged to step up to the oche and give it their best shot.
Well done to Sarah for being such a good sport — and we look forward to seeing whether she can keep herself off the bottom of the leaderboard next time!
