Environmental Park is set for a new season of Nesting

April 28, 2022  8:00 am

The 15 acre environmental Park at Gelder Group has been very fortunately to be able to successfully nest Owls and Kestrels for several years and now thanks to the talented students at Lincoln College we will now be able to host a array of birds and wildlife. The students were commissioned to make nesting boxes for owls, great tits, blue tits, tree sparrows and many other birds as well as several hedgehog enclosures.

In addition to these man-made bird boxes, nature will always find its own nesting ground as seen with this pheasant making a home for her eggs amongst some felled trees on site.
