Description
The project comprised of an Extension & Major re-modelling throughout the Police Station over an area totalling approximately 600m². The project involved the renovation of the existing custody suite to form a charge room, cells and other ancillary accommodation. The existing dining room wing was also re-modelled to create new interview facilities along with further ancillary accommodation.
The difficulties of undertaking works within a ‘live’ police environment were substantially overcome by introducing a phased construction sequence which significantly reduced any potential disruption.
