Gelder Group are delighted to announce that they have again succeeded in reducing its carbon emissions in 2022 in line with its Vision of ‘Creating a sustainable future for the new generation in construction’.
Verified by Planet Mark, the independent sustainability certification body which recognises continuous improvements, encourages action, verifies and measures carbon and social data. Planet Mark confirm that in 2022 Gelder group reduced carbon emissions by 1.8% across its group activities. The certification body measure all direct emissions through its fleet and offices as well as indirect emission.
On the result CEO Steve Gelder MBE FCGI commented:
We’ve been working hard to make our offices more energy efficient from installing new uPVC windows and doors and installing PIR sensors to communal areas for efficient lighting. I’m looking forward to seeing what we achieve in 2023.
