Gelder Group once again took part in Construction Week, spending three days engaging with young people and showcasing the wide range of opportunities available within the construction industry.
Throughout the event, our team welcomed 12 school groups from across Lincolnshire, giving pupils the chance to get hands-on and learn more about the industry in a fun and interactive way.
This year, pupils took on our LEGO construction challenge, where they had to plan and budget their project, purchase the materials they needed and work together to complete their build within budget. The activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making, while giving pupils a fun insight into some of the planning and commercial considerations involved in a construction project.
