North Sea Observatory nearing completion.

The North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards nearing completion.

A new iconic building on the seafront at Chapel St Leonards is almost ready to be handed over to our clients Lincolnshire County Council. The facility constructed by Gelder Group will have fantastic uninterrupted views of the dunes, beach and North Sea and is the UK’s only purpose designed marine observatory.

February will see it open to the public who will be able to enjoy the perfect vantage point for views of this spectacular part of the Lincolnshire coastline. On the project Major Contracts Director Kevin Manterfield commented:

This has been another very technical and challenging build so well done to the team. As you can see from the photo, the end result is spectacular.
