Despite lockdown, Gelder Group’s Commercial Division has, where its safe to do so and where materials are available, kept projects running. One such project that has moved forward is the construction of a new Digital, Logistics and Academy building on Boston College’s Rochford Campus.
Steelwork is now erected and groundworks are well under way on the £1.6m project, which is being managed by site manager Matt Turner and overseen by contract manager Gavin Parker.
On Completion, the new building will welcome students, focusing on port skills such as crane operations, forklift truck driving, leadership and management, as well as improving their digital skills.
