Gelder Group recently had the pleasure of attending an exclusive private tour of Lincoln Cathedral following its recent membership as a Corporate Member of the Friends of Lincoln Cathedral.

The special event brought together fellow Corporate Members including Streets Chartered Accountants, Turnbull, YMD Boon, Daniel Charles Architects and Allsop Commercial Services, providing an opportunity to experience one of Lincoln’s most iconic landmarks while strengthening relationships with other organisations committed to supporting the Cathedral’s future.

The fascinating tour was led by J. Vitoria, who shared the remarkable history, architecture and heritage of Lincoln Cathedral, offering guests a unique insight into the building’s rich past and its continuing importance to the city and wider community.

As a business with strong roots in Lincolnshire, Gelder Group is proud to support organisations that help preserve the county’s heritage while creating opportunities for collaboration across the local business community.

Steve Gelder, CEO of Gelder Group, said:

Lincoln Cathedral is at the heart of our city’s history and identity, and we’re delighted to become Corporate Members of the Friends of Lincoln Cathedral. The tour was both informative and inspiring, and it was a pleasure to spend time with other local businesses who share a commitment to supporting such an important landmark. We’d like to thank J. Vitoria and the Friends of Lincoln Cathedral for making the experience so memorable.

The Friends of Lincoln Cathedral plays an important role in supporting the preservation and conservation of one of the world’s finest Gothic cathedrals, ensuring it can continue to inspire future generations.
