Gelder Group is delighted to celebrate the successful completion of Holly Kenny’s Level 2 Painter and Decorator Apprenticeship with Lincoln College.
Throughout her apprenticeship, Holly successfully combined classroom learning with hands-on experience across a range of live construction projects, developing the technical skills, confidence and attention to detail required to excel in the painting and decorating profession.
As part of her End-Point Assessment (EPA), Holly received outstanding feedback from the Independent End-Point Assessor, who praised both her technical ability and professionalism. Her practical painting project was described as “excellent”, with the assessor highlighting the high-quality finish, “sharp lines to adjacent colours” and the precision of her workmanship. Holly’s commitment to health and safety was also recognised, with the assessor commenting that she “worked at height safely ensuring all points were checked prior to proceeding.” Summing up her performance, they concluded: “The whole painting project was excellent… Well done.”
Since joining the Painting and Decorating team, Holly has become a valued member of the business, consistently demonstrating enthusiasm, dedication and a willingness to learn. The exceptional feedback received during her End-Point Assessment reflects the hard work and commitment she has shown throughout her apprenticeship.
Holly will now continue her career with Gelder Group as a qualified Painter and Decorator, where she will further develop her skills while contributing to projects across the region.Chris Kent, Contracts Manager and mentor to Holly said:
