As the England Over 50 national football team gears up for an exciting summer tournament in Asia this September, they have been diligently honing their skills through friendly matches across the country. On Sunday, the 5th of April, England participated in their latest pre-tournament fixture at Brigg Town, where a squad of 15 players showcased their talent on the field.
Hosted by Brigg Town FC, the match brought together a spirited clash between the England Over 50 squad and the formidable Brigg Town over 50 league side. The encounter was marked by a display of skill, sportsmanship, and sheer determination from both teams.
The match, witnessed by enthusiastic spectators, culminated in a 1-1 draw, highlighting the competitive spirit and camaraderie shared by the players.
