Gelder Group staff again volunteered this year to collect Christmas Trees around Lincoln on behalf of St Barnabas. All the trees will be recycled, unpotted trees will be turned into wood chippings, which can be used for biomass boilers or made into mulch for gardens, and potted plants will be replanted in local woodland at Lincolnshire Showground. All proceeds from the sale of the wood chippings will raise vital funds for St Barnabas.
Gelder Group volunteers Paul Nend, Toby Stephenson, Rob Parker and Steve Paton generously gave up there time over the weekend to collect hundreds of trees across Lincoln for the fundraising effort. A special thanks to Paul Nend who worked on his birthday to support the charity.
