Last month saw the delivery of the steelwork to the North Sea Observatory at Chapel St Leonards. The building is in a new phase of construction with steelwork being erected, which sees the structure starting to take shape.
The project did not get off to an easy start. During the early stages we discovered some unexploded bombs, which had to be safely cleared from the area. All of the World War 2 Home Guard bombs have now been removed and normal construction regains its stride.
