Development at Knaith Park is SOLD OUT

The last property was sold last week to Mr & Mrs Shephard who are delighted to be moving into Knaith Park. They instantly fell in love with Heynings Court and although it was a stressful process with frustrating solicitors, Ken says “it’s definitely been worth it”. They are looking forward to opening their bottle of champagne & celebrating the beginning of their new life in Knaith Park.

Gelder Living Secure £1.6m New Homes Contract with ACIS Housing Association

Over 10 years in the making, Gelder Living has secured a £1.6m order to develop a redundant garage site in Sturton by Stow which will deliver 14no 1, 2 and 3 bedroomed homes and much needed affordable semi-detached bungalows in Sturton by Stow.

The scheme originally started life in 2009 but many legal, planning, drainage and funding issues needed to be overcome.

Work on the 52 week project will start immediately and will also deliver several local apprenticeship opportunities.


Gelder Living Secures another Development Site

Gelder Living has boosted its land bank by a further 26 plots by securing a development site at Moortown Road, Nettleton on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.

It is hoped that work will start on site in early 2022 with the first completions planned for the Autumn.

Nettleton is one of Lincolnshire’s most desirable locations situated not only on the edge of an area of outstanding natural beauty but also 1 mile South West of the market town of Caistor with catchment to Caistor Grammar School, which was named as the 2019 Top East Midlands School.

Mr & Mrs Fields completed the purchase on their new home on Friday 29th January, the couple enjoyed a bottle of champagne and a welcome hamper on their arrival.  The development is now completely sold (STC) and Gelder Living are now commencing on new sites in Saxilby and Marton.

New Residents Move in To Maple Close

Gelder Livings development at Maple Close, Kirton Lindsey is now fully occupied with the last 9 families receiving keys to their new homes on Thursday 14th January.

The development of 16 units consists of 10 bungalows and 6 three bed houses and represents the second joint venture scheme Gelder Living have delivered with housing provider Ongo Homes, the previous development being 24 flats for the over 55’s located in Gainsborough.

Planning Permission approved on Carholme Road

Gelder Group have secured planning permission for 14 apartments in Lincoln City Centre.  The development was approved during Lincoln City Councils Planning meeting in October and adds yet another development site to the Gelder Living brand.

The site received overwhelming support from the planning department who commented during the meeting:

The design is of a high quality and would deliver 14 new apartments in this important location without causing harm to amenity…the applicant is blending contemporary elements with traditional materials and form and we would recommend that the applicant has done this successfully.

Gelder Group currently have an exclusive development of bungalows available for sale in Knaith Park and are commencing work on further residential sites in Saxilby, Sturton by Stow and Marton in the New Year.

Gelder Living has secured a further development site. The joint venture agreement with the landowners will see twelve high quality properties developed on a site in Saxilby.

Gelder Living has completed 49 properties during the course of the past 24 months as it delivers on both it’s Vision 2017 and 2020 commitments of being ‘Enterprising in our approach to new developments’ and a developer of homes that ‘Improves communities’.

Gelder Living has plans to develop a further 23 high quality homes in 2021 and now has a pipeline of a further 52 plots for 2022 and beyond.
