Boys Boarding House Completed for Worksop College

New Boarding House at Worksop College.
At Worksop College, boarding is thriving across all years. To help keep up with demand, the Gelder Groups’s Major Contracts division have successfully increased their boarding capacity with a new 60 bed boarding house, costing £3.5 million.
The work included a three storey boarding house for boys, Housemaster’s residence, two House tutor rooms and three communal areas. All areas utilise ground source heat pumps for their heating systems, which comprise of twelve 120 metre deep boreholes and associated pipework. This was a considerable project for the team and they are proud to see its completion.
