Description
The project consists of 6 No 2 bed houses & 2 No 2 bed bungalows, incorporating a private road, and an element of section 278 works. All dwellings are to meet the requirements of code level 4, and all requirements of lifetime homes & secured by design. The form of construction is timber frame, with traditional foundations.
Certain renewable technologies are included within the development such as Air Source heat pump exhaust systems and solar thermal panels & rainwater harvesting. The site obtained planning by way of an exceptions site in a small village.
The success of the project so far has been due to community involvement and meeting the client’s needs whilst maintaining a traditional form of development given the rural location.
