Gelder Group celebrated its first-ever Haunted Walk, an immersive, spine-chilling experience held in the company’s own environmental park. Over 250 visitors attended the charity event, which spanned three nights and raised over £4,000 in support of St Barnabas Hospice and the Gelder Charitable Trust, with final figures to be announced shortly.
The Halloween-inspired journey featured a variety of terrifying zones, including zombie-infested paths, a gruesome “Corpse Bridge,” an unsettling clown area, and the notorious “Insane Asylum” complete with an eerily realistic patient. The Gelder team transformed the forest into an unforgettable experience, providing all who attended with a truly terrifying event.
“We are thrilled with the turnout and the funds raised for such important causes,” said Steve Gelder, CEO of Gelder Group. “It was a fantastic team effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of everyone involved in bringing this event to life. It really showcased the ‘can-do’ attitude of the Gelder staff.”
As Gelder Group plans for next year’s Haunted Walk, the bar is set even higher. With bigger scares and an expanded lineup of immersive horror experiences, next year’s event promises to be scarier than ever.
