Gelder Group is proud to announce a significant investment in the safety and wellbeing of its employees and visitors. - Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Use: Proper operation of AEDs, including how to recognize cardiac arrest and deliver appropriate shocks.
- CPR Procedures: Hands-on practice in cardiopulmonary resuscitation for adults, children, and infants.
- Emergency Response Coordination: Effective communication and collaboration during medical emergencies.
- Scenario-based Learning: Real-life simulations to enhance decision-making skills and confidence.
“We are deeply committed to creating a safe environment for our employees and visitors,” said David Ternent, Health & Safety Manager at Gelder Group. “Equipping our offices with AED machines and providing comprehensive training for our staff are critical steps in ensuring that we can respond effectively in emergencies. This initiative not only protects our team but also equips them with invaluable skills they can utilise in their personal lives.”
The installation of AED machines and the extensive training of staff members reflect Gelder Group’s broader commitment to health, safety, and continuous professional development. These measures are designed to enhance the overall safety infrastructure within the company, providing peace of mind and a sense of security to everyone who steps into a Gelder Group office.
