Dragon Boat Racing is an ancient Chinese tradition and over the last few years has become the fastest growing water activity in Britain today. Up to 10 people paddle each 30’ boat with a drummer at the front beating time and a helm at the tail steering a straight course. This year’s race organised by Ringrose Law will see 20 teams raising money for LIVES which is a vital Lincolnshire charity who attend 999 medical emergencies across the county, 365 days a year. Whether they are providing rapid first response support on their doorstep, or highly specialised medical interventions to the most seriously ill patients, they all volunteer their time for free to save lives and be there when someone is having their worst day. The charity provides the equipment and training for the ever-increasing need.
